Happy 12th to Suriani & Mohd Afiq
Alhamdulillah we went through our 1st year with lot of laughter, excitement, adventures & all those positive stuff we did/went through together. And of course there are lil bit of shit that we went through but I'm proud to say that this is the best relationship I've ever been in and I pray really hard that this will last till the clock tick its last, Insyallah.
Wondering how we met? Haha, come follow me through the journey.
I first got to know him in 2005, he was a part timer in DPEX. Didn't know his name and I forgot when I get to know his name. I do heard from the boys that he wanna get to know me but got nothing from him so I thought it was all bullshit. (Then, when we're together he told me he didn't approached me cos I'm attached lor) The first time I spoke to him was when he was doing despatch, he called my controller phone who was fagging away outside so I gotta return his call and gave him the customer's details where he should collect the shipment. And I could still remember he borrowed my blue pen and didn't return it back up till today! Hahah! The boys make a full joke out of that pen ok! Haha!
We only went out twice as a group of course. It was karaoke session & Mustafa. The first time I ride with him on his 125z was in early 2006. From Tampines Central to somewhere around Tampines residential area. Tu pon aku takot ok bile dia belok, phobia! We went to Mustafa with the DPEX clan I followed the car of course while only Faris and him rode there. Then it was karaoke session at Kampung Chai Chee followed by supper till 5am! We didn't talk much ok!
After that I didn't see much of him as he work on and off. Even on MSN we SELDOM chat ok! Haha. Then get to know he gotta serve the nation.We met again on the 26 of August 2007 for another outing, picnic session to be exact. As usual didn't talk much but he LOVES to tease me with this "AMIN" thingy with his head movement! Idiot! Haha. We spent hours at ECP celebrating my cousin's 26th birthday with the DPEX clan again. Then Iana & me decided to go cycling. So the 4 of us (Iana, Hansli, Afiq & yours truly) rent the double bike(don't know what you call it). I rode with him first then change partner halfway through.
We then bid goodbye and I thought it end there. I was still with my cousin after that when he text my cousin, ask her to pass his message thanking me for the bicycle ride. So polite meh? Haha! I then text him with my very own number!(my number was like private & confidential at that point of time!Haha!Stupid). We start to exchange text while cousin and me was getting ready to go Arab St then Raggae Night and I asked him whether he & Hans would like to joined and they did! We met again at Arab St and spent hours there where I sat with Hans & him only while my cousin was with her friends!
Then we head to HRC! We were right infront of HRC and I decided not to go cos shit happen(not with him though) and head home while they continue with the plan.
I was at my lowest for the following week, I was so close to end everything. But thank GOD I still have a brain to think, I have friends, family who still love me. And I got him who's always there for me even though he was going through shit as well.Exchanging text was our daily dosage at that point of time as he was still in camp in Pulau Brani.I ended my previous relationship which cannot be saved and it was worthwhile, I swear. He too went through the same shit and I tried to be there for him too. That aside.16 September 07, our very first iftar together at Simpang and that was went I first met his bestbuddygirlfriend, ESAH. It was nerve wrecking ok! Macam nak jumpe parents lak! Haha! 4th October 07, he invited Esah & me to his POP and we witness it! It was a great honoured to be invited. As time goes by I met up lots of his true friends and I'm glad they don't judge me and accept me for who I am. 19th October 07, the "big" date that he popped out the question. Through MSN ok! Some thought he was only a rebound but obviously no! I wouldn't want people to treat me like that neither do I wanna treat people like that.I'm glad that my family, whole lot of them loves him and treat him really nice! And I am treated the same to by his family.
I'm thankful, couldn't ask for more.Gotta doll myself up now or he'll start screaming at me =p
